Lighting design and operation

The first ever edition of hereandthere was held in the basement of Gabriel Loci Monastery. We were really thrilled to create a project that fit our vision of what a party could be. We had two stages as well as several chill out-areas and two bars. My task was to oversee the lighting production and collaborate with our lighting artists and volunteers. This was an experimental playground, as it was the first time I had this much responsibility for a project that was my own. 

Inspiration: creative freedom, warmth, experimentation.

Techno stage
Materials: pars, sunstrips, light bulbs, strobe, fog

Morning stage 
We wanted to continue the event in the morning, but we wanted an element of change so we converted one of the chill-out rooms into a stage. We covered the windows with color filters to create a bright and playful setting, an uplifting mood for the last stretch of the party. I also added my bubble machine, which soon became my personal touch to morning sessions. 

Materials: color filters, fog, plastic sheet, bubbles.
